Well, an interesting way to start huh? As I said Lacoste is one of my favorite brands. I have them, and some of you delivered smashing photo's, and some of you flopped. As the the judges and I stew over out pot, here are the photo's for your vieweing pleasure.

shows off your new look! The shirt you picked looks great on you, and your setting is
really great. You look like a model, and you look hip and cool as well.
I can see alot of teenagers looking up to you, and your
personality is very positive and exciting. I think overall you did a great job,
and the other guys should watch out for Adal!
Hiss like the snake, or your turning into a vampire? Well either way you should chose between closing your mouth or opening it in a smile, that thing, in between, nah ah dont do it ever again unless you want people to mistake you with a llama! Ha

Try more exciting angles, get a check on your color shemes and everything should be allright!

Another favorite! For all of Jakub's jokes, you really do know how to model Dolce. I don't see any reason why this couldn't appear in a magazine. It's so flawless. Major props, man.

Jakub, I have to say this photo has the simpliest setting, but it defietly stands

look like a model. I think you naturally take great photo's because 50% of its how you
look, but you need to do a bit more, dont get comfortable and rely on your looks.

I really, really like this shot. I think the editing of this shot makes it even more effective. Either you wanted to deck the photographer that day, or you want to deck anyone who doesn't go out and buy Lacoste. It has to be one or the other because you look positively livid. The expression on your face completely contradicts the relaxed pose you have. It's a nice pose, but try to work on your face. Other than that, the background you've chosen is quite nice. Because it's so plain, it really brings the focus to just you and clothing, which really is the point of advertisement.
I think that the Lacoste logo in your AD doesn't matter if are or not there, because still without that I would recognize that is a Lacoste advertising. Well done!

Jesse, I have to say, I dont have much to say about this photo. Its a bit
random with the man swimming, and the car, and what apperars to be a
desk? Im confused here. I will say you have alot of potential, and I believe you
can do better.
irst up I can see you did not follow the guidelines. The shot was supposed to be from waist up, this isent, and with a colored shirt, thats just plain white and dull.
More cropping would have set the focus on you, the man swimming distracts me.

Well I like this. It looks summery. Your pose is relaxed like you're about to lay down and tan. However what I do not like is the hair. It's too rockstar and not Lacoste ad. I like the hint of a smile on your face. Nice job!
This makes for a good photograph as it is, but not the best ad. Remember, this is meant to advertise Lacoste, a clothing brand. Literally everything in the photograph should be in some way complimenting the clothes and model. There are just too many distractions in the background. The pose is nice, and imagine how great it would've been if it had taken up more than 1/4 of the photo!
You looks so well, with that pose you look so confidence and that is good, for me I think that the chair that you used is not the best, is a little outside with you and the background, the atmosphere that you used is well but maybe not the best one.

Another angry mister! Like Jakub, your pose and your face are at odds. Your pose says "relaxed" while your face says "posed". You have to choose one or other, not both. And in this particular photoshoot the goals was relaxed. Overall a very nice ad, but remember to monitor your facial expressions!
What happened with that strong and aggressive boy? but I must say that other you towards excelling more. Your AD is totaly Chic, I really like it, reminds me the A|X campaigns, the colors are very well synchronous, without a doubt an AD with quality.

What is it that's supposed to be modeled again? Oh yeah, clothes! Looking at this it's a bit hard to forget. The most noticable features of this photo are bulging biceps and face. And while both are gorgeous, neither are for sale presumably? Yes, models need to look gorgeous, but they are useless if they're not selling the merchandise. And sorry, you're not famous enough to sell products with your face and name alone. Maybe someday, but not yet.

The color of the shirt isn't really complimented at all, it's even actually hard to tell what color it even is. Brown? Maroon? This shot looks like a cheap Hollister. Taking a step back, it is a nice looking photo, but not for Lacoste.
This is not what I think of when I think of Lacoste. I think a little ocean would make me think Lacoste. I don't like the smile, it's too commercial. In Jesse's shot, he has a hint of a smile, which works for it. I don't know, I think you need to improve in order to stay in.

This is so relaxing and cool. Your pose is just brilliant. The outfit though is too busy with the graphic on the front, I would have preferred stripes or a solid color. This is a really great round one though. Good job!

Dolce, I really like this photo of you. I would like to see you look
a bit more relaxed, because your pose is nice, but you look a tad bit mean.
There's the model frown, then there's the angry frown, and you look
angry. Your makeover is great on you, and your skin really makes your
eyes pop out. I think your eyes are one of your best features, and in this photo you cant
really see them. I like your setting, and your shirt is really nice. Overall, good job!
Aha! This is gurgeous, I like it! You really convince me that that mean look on your face is natural, you actually walk around looking that sexy and tough. Wouldent work on others than you. I will advice you though to do different expressions from round to round, I have a feeling that expression might be your favorite.

Well this is nice. I like from the neck down, but that's about it. You look extremely vicious and mean. Like you're about to kill or jump someone mean. The settings are sort of sparse, but they're nice. Better luck next week.
Another favorite! For all of Jakub's jokes, you really do know how to model Dolce. I don't see any reason why this couldn't appear in a magazine. It's so flawless. Major props, man.
I love your face expression, your pose imposes authority and the hands in pockets allow to see the confidence in you, is a great elements combination, clothes, pose, background, but I must to say that is something missing in this ad, something to make it more special.

Jakub, I have to say this photo has the simpliest setting, but it defietly stands
out from the others. You look sexy, calm, relaxed and you
look like a model. I think you naturally take great photo's because 50% of its how you
look, but you need to do a bit more, dont get comfortable and rely on your looks.

I really, really like this shot. I think the editing of this shot makes it even more effective. Your pose reminds me of those summer days where you just hang out in the park with friends, running around, talking, lying down. Your facial expression is bam! right there. Either you wanted to deck the photographer that day, or you want to deck anyone who doesn't go out and buy Lacoste. It has to be one or the other because you look positively livid. The expression on your face completely contradicts the relaxed pose you have. It's a nice pose, but try to work on your face. Other than that, the background you've chosen is quite nice. Because it's so plain, it really brings the focus to just you and clothing, which really is the point of advertisement.
I think that the Lacoste logo in your AD doesn't matter if are or not there, because still without that I would recognize that is a Lacoste advertising. Well done!

Jesse, I have to say, I dont have much to say about this photo. Its a bit
random with the man swimming, and the car, and what apperars to be a
desk? Im confused here. I will say you have alot of potential, and I believe you
can do better.
irst up I can see you did not follow the guidelines. The shot was supposed to be from waist up, this isent, and with a colored shirt, thats just plain white and dull.
More cropping would have set the focus on you, the man swimming distracts me.

Well I like this. It looks summery. Your pose is relaxed like you're about to lay down and tan. However what I do not like is the hair. It's too rockstar and not Lacoste ad. I like the hint of a smile on your face. Nice job!
This makes for a good photograph as it is, but not the best ad. Remember, this is meant to advertise Lacoste, a clothing brand. Literally everything in the photograph should be in some way complimenting the clothes and model. There are just too many distractions in the background. The pose is nice, and imagine how great it would've been if it had taken up more than 1/4 of the photo!
You looks so well, with that pose you look so confidence and that is good, for me I think that the chair that you used is not the best, is a little outside with you and the background, the atmosphere that you used is well but maybe not the best one.

Another angry mister! Like Jakub, your pose and your face are at odds. Your pose says "relaxed" while your face says "posed". You have to choose one or other, not both. And in this particular photoshoot the goals was relaxed. Overall a very nice ad, but remember to monitor your facial expressions!
What happened with that strong and aggressive boy? but I must say that other you towards excelling more. Your AD is totaly Chic, I really like it, reminds me the A|X campaigns, the colors are very well synchronous, without a doubt an AD with quality.

Its obvious that you followed the guidelines closely, like a lifesaver, and that rescued you from any bad comments on my behalf. Only one straight out advice: dont look so blank in the face, in this case a smile would have been better.
I love look of this. It's casual and relaxed looking. Your outfit is one of my favorites, just because it has the pattern on it, although I would have preferred the pattern in a brighter color. Your settings are perfect. I think eye contact would have looked better, but in yours the looking away looks more relaxed. You look approachable. Great job!
This ad has it all; a beautiful setting, excellent clothing and a relaxed pose. The only thing lacking here is your expression. There just isn't that relaxed quality that the rest of the picture gives off.

Again one of my favorites. You look amazing! I love this so much. I love the contrast between the green of the grass and the green of your chosen shirt. You look so relaxed. The shadows on you add to those effects. Amazing is all I can say about this shot. Amazing, amazing, amazing.
What is it that's supposed to be modeled again? Oh yeah, clothes! Looking at this it's a bit hard to forget. The most noticable features of this photo are bulging biceps and face. And while both are gorgeous, neither are for sale presumably? Yes, models need to look gorgeous, but they are useless if they're not selling the merchandise. And sorry, you're not famous enough to sell products with your face and name alone. Maybe someday, but not yet.
Awesome AD, is very beautiful, i like how you have handled the shade of the tree under where you are laid down, is a great Lacoste AD, the only thing that I can to criticize you is that your expression is too serious, as much that it makes us think that somebody finishes to assassinate to you.

In agreement with the other judges, this photo is just too much. Too much sun, too much smiling, and too fake a tan. The color of the shirt isn't really complimented at all, it's even actually hard to tell what color it even is. Brown? Maroon? This shot looks like a cheap Hollister. Taking a step back, it is a nice looking photo, but not for Lacoste.
This is not what I think of when I think of Lacoste. I think a little ocean would make me think Lacoste. I don't like the smile, it's too commercial. In Jesse's shot, he has a hint of a smile, which works for it. I don't know, I think you need to improve in order to stay in.
You idea is interesting although I feel that you did not use the right colors, I do not feel that a good combination exists that makes see a little flat, your pose is great i like it but I'm not sure if I were in a desert under a terrible heat I would be with that pleasant smile, I think that it is what it has failed to you.
